Welcome to The Sports Academy
of Connecticut and New York
The Sports Academy of Connecticut and New York is a state-of-the-art baseball and softball training facility located at 69 Kenosia Avenue in Danbury, CT. The Academy was carefully designed with the optimal development of the ‘student-athlete’ in mind. Upon realizing a void currently existed in the area for a facility of this nature, and an appreciation and understanding of the complexity of resources student-athletes need to optimize their development, the Sports Academy will addresses all facets of development.

“Our mission is to provide a student-athlete the facility, instruction, and guidance to build the skills and discipline to excel in their studies and sport of choice. Whereas the athletic component of the Sports Academy is essential, the two additional components that round out the ‘total development package’ are the tutoring and recruiting center. Our academic and recruiting center will be a perfect complement to the athletic component of our Academy. With the guidelines and timelines imposed upon student-athletes by the NCAA, this service has been very well received, as many families do not know the process. The Sports Academy believes discipline and dedication is the basis for success.”

"A special thanks to Kyle for coaching AJ on his swing mechanics this past few weeks. Kid went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles last night compared to 0-4 past few games. Confidence restored! We'll be back next week."
"Its JP, AJ's Dad. Just a heads up that he went 3 for 5 with a double and two singles last night! And every at bat had a lot of foul tips too. This is compared to 0 for 4 last few games and almost zero contact. He was so psyched and wants to say "thanks man". We'll see you next Monday again around 5."
"I can’t thank you enough Coach Kyle for making me a better baseball player. I grew so much as a player since I joined Sports Academy in the fall of 2013. You and Edwin pushed me at every practice which really improved my game. I feel like I have a better awareness on the field and I learned some great new swing techniques. Thank you for believing in me and giving me a great experience to be on the Sports Academy Storm Travel team. I’m a faster runner, a better hitter, and a stronger pitcher. You’re the best.
